Happy Yule

Wishing everyone a merry Yule, pagan celebration of the winter solstice. Er, I mean Christmas. (You didn't think it was actually Jesus' birthday, did you?)

We're celebrating by being too dysfunctional to put up a Christmas tree. Our substitute? A two-foot ficus with some lights on it. I hung a little red Charlie-Brown ornament (you know the one) on the very top, and entertained some faint hope that it would droop to one side, but this too was a disappointment.

It's 3AM and I'm getting the flu, but I'm (to relieve the winter break blues) hammering at the website. It still looks the same ... which is sort of the idea. I'm testing methods to simplify the layout while preserving appearance in both IE and Mojira. The black dividers don't go where they're supposed to in ... either one or the other, I'm not sure which. But I like IE's way, fortunately, and it's inconsequential regardless.

Largest change so far is the art page. New stuff is up. Old stuff is gone (unless you're a friend and I've given you the special link). I'm coming to the realization that while I'm already a junior in college, my portfolio is nowhere near well-rounded enough, nor up to the quality I am now capable of, nor is said quality as good as I'd like it to be. I gotta get my shit together.

New map stuff, as always, is at the appropriate site, and there actually has been some news on that front. Otherwise, I'm going to go continue to ingest fluids and aspirin like it's 1999.
